"What
an awesome show you guys have!!
The massive amount of talent
just poured from the stage! We
were visiting from Mississippi
and saw the Tuesday, June 10th
show. Unfortunately, we had to
leave Wednesday to come back
home and did not have the chance
to attend another show....this
visit!! However, we will be
back!!!! My husband and I (both
mid 40's) enjoyed reliving
memories from the variety of
songs and music in your show. My
teenage daughter (15) also
thoroughly enjoyed the show. The
comedy was too much! We were
still laughing today!! Great
family show! Will certainly tell
others about Pine Mountain
Jamboree and encourage Eureka
Springs as a family vacation. I
am already planning a "girls"
weekend to visit Eureka again
and your show will be at the top
of things to do!! Walt's
performance of Arlington left me
breathless. We appreciated the
way your show drew the audience
in....can't wait to see you all
again. OH! I bought a couple of
tapes and listened to them all
the way home today...more than
once. Will keep you all in my
prayers. God Bless and thank you
for a wonderful time." — Tari
Matura, Brandon, MS
"Wow!! You folks never
fail to be a wonderful
entertainment venue. Another
great season has started and we
have certainly been "WOWED" once
again by your super vocals and
instrumentals. (Sorry to
hear about Kevin
Clark...we'll miss him.)
BIG HELLO to Acra Turner who
does a marvelous
job not only singing and playing
the keyboard but great seeing
him taking an
"acting" part in the cast with
dancing and comedy too. Hey. we only
thought last years show was
great...well this year the show
gets an A++ rating
cause it is even better, for
sure it's new and improved!!
Oh yes, Scott
Dewbre's comedy routine is
hilariously off the wall...where
does he get
those funny lines?...definately
in touch with whats going on in
the world
today. Thanks so much for
keeping the "Arlington"
song...it's
just so heartfelt and deeply
spirited...that song is an icon
to your show. We
are looking forward to sending
our friends and other family
members to Eureka to
see this show. Out of everythingwe do in Eureka, the Pine Mountain Jamboree remains the
number one item on our list of
things to do. We had a feeling
this was going to
be a "not to be missed" show and
we weren't
disappointed...it's a GOT TO SEE
IT show! Looking forward
to seeing you
all on our next trip to Eureka."

"2008 begins with a real bang.
Great show and good selections
for us baby boomers. Glad you
kept Arlington and the Ragged
Old Flag. We will be back many
times in 2008. And the new
cookies are delicious." — Doug
Joyce, Holiday Island, AR
"We
have seen a lot of shows and
this is, by far, the best family
entertainment that we have seen.
That is why we come back year
after year. We will see you on
opening night to celebrate
Vickie's birthday." — Floyd
Currie, Blue Eye, AR
"We
were at the Corvette Weekend and
stopped in to visit with you
(Terry & Beth Davis from
Russellville, AR). Thank you so
much for opening up your
facility to the Corvette
weekenders. When people were
asking for a restroom to use, It
gave me a chance to tell people
about you guys and what a great
show you put on. I wish you all
a world of success for many
years to come. We plan on coming
up to see your Christmas Show
this year." — Thanks again,
Terry & Beth
"Last Friday night my husband
and I were part of a group with
Around Town Tours attending your
wonderful show. We found it to
be extremely entertaining and
marveled at the level of talent.
Many highlights of the
show........such good
instrumentals and solos and our
jaws literally ached from
laughing at Scott Dewbre. Just 2
days before I had been
disappointed by a tasteless
performance at the Repertory
Theater in St. Louis and it was
so refreshing to attend such a
wholesome and enjoyable show.
The contrast was unmistakable.
Thank you for a wonderful
evening of entertainment.....we
certainly will recommend your
theater to everyone." — Marilyn
and Carl O'Donnell
"All...I attended your show for
the first time with the Moore
Family Reunion last week. I have
to say that I had a blast !!! My
children thoroughly loved the
show. And hands down, Steve Bush
is one of the finest performers
I have ever seen play live in my
entire life. As a guitarist, I
am often hard pressed to see
players that put me in awe. This
was not the case when I watched
Mr. Bush. He is truly a diamond
and I feel lucky I was able to
see him perform." — Scott
Roberts, Hattiesburg, MS

"Hello
from Fort Worth, Texas!! We enjoyed
your regular and Christmas shows so
much last year that at the end of
the year we purchased season passes.
We attended your new 2007 show in
April and found that it was even
better than last year. We noticed
that that very talented keyboard
player KEVIN CLARK seemed to do more
singing this year too and it's
wonderful to hear him!... that new
keyboard really sounds out too! It
was such an awesome show this year
and we just can't wait to return
again real soon as we'd like to see
it several times again before the
Christmas shows start. All your
folks are so versatile, very
talented, and present much
high-class professionalism! Although
we are more bluegrass/country and
gospel oriented we enjoyed the great
variety of songs, especially the
patriotic ones near the end of the
show and the gospel portion at the
very beginning. Oh yes, Mr. Dewbre
as always is still so incredibly
funny throughout the entire show;
you just can't miss the show for all
the comedy too. Mike you are a great
MC and both you and Dale do a
fantastic job of running the show.
We are certainly looking forward to
bringing more folks with us our next
visit. Thanks for the great clean
family entertainment as you all far
exceeded our expectations once
again. Also thanks to the Best
Western Eureka Inn for a great clean
place to stay as they first directed
us to your wonderful show. God Bless
you all!" — JP Aaron & Friends
"Great
season opener. Keep up the great
job. BRAVO!" — Doug Joyce, Holiday
Island, AR
"Hi
Mike, Dale and the boys. We really
enjoyed tonight's show and know you
are going to have a great season.
Mike, when you sang "Give me One
More Day", I got a tear in my eyes
and a lump in my throat. If you have
watched the news at all today, you
have seen the accident in Atlanta,
where the bus went off a ramp and
landed on the interstate below. It
killed the driver, his wife and 4
baseball players, injured 28
students and the coach. Some in
critical condition. This was a
baseball team from Bluffton, Ohio
University, headed for Florida for
spring training. Our daughter works
for that University and knows most
of these boys. We had talked to her
a couple of times today and how
devastated the whole school is, of
this tragic accident. The University
is a Mennonite University with about
2200 students. The whole town is a
close knit, family oriented
community. I ask that you say a
special prayer for all the families
and friends of these students and
the driver & his wife. Your song hit
home, how life can change in a
instant. See you soon." — Betty
Putnam, Eagle Rock
"Hi and
greetings from North Wales, where we
are back safely after our US
vacation! We just wanted to say a
big thank you to everybody for
making us so welcome at the Jamboree
on 13th November.
It was an absolutely fantastic
evening - we really enjoyed
ourselves, there really is nothing
quite like in the UK!! We also went,
later in our vacation, to the
Oaklawn Opry in Texarkana (every
Saturday except Thanksgiving and
Christmas!!) and that comes highly
recommended too. Please pass on our
best wishes to Bill and hope that he
is as well as can be expected (he
kindly gave us one of his CDs).
So, again, thank you ... and if ever
we're back in the Ozarks, you'll see
us again!" — Hilary and Paul Davies
"Last
night my daughter and I attended
your Christmas show and enjoyed it
immensely. You are all so talented
and entertaining. Thank you so much
for a wonderful night. I will
definitely pass the word around to
all the people I can about your
show. My daughter will return to
Memphis Wednesday, and she intends
to do the same. Since I am from
Memphis, I especially liked the
tribute to Memphis music. There is
none like it anywhere else in the
world. I loved the song about the
beginnings of rock 'n roll at Sun
Studios. I would love to find a CD
with that song. I'm not sure of its
name......" I Was There" or
something like that? Could you steer
me to that song? Is it an original
song that might be found on one of
your CDs? Also, I purchased Dale's
CD last night, and I'm very pleased
with it. Another comment: Not only
was I very happy that we got our
money's worth from your Christmas
show, but I want you to know, Mike
and Dale, that my heart was warmed
by the obvious love you have for
each other. I could see it in your
eyes when you looked at each other.
There was love there, but also
pride. That made me smile a lot. I
came away from your show last night
with a glow. Thank you. Once again,
thanks for a great show. The
performers, musicians, song
selections, the comedian were all
just perfect. I hope you have great
success with the show and entertain
in Eureka Springs for a long, long
time." — June Freeman, Eureka
Springs, AR
"We
caught your holiday show and loved
both Mike & Dale Bishop. You put us
in such a holiday mood. We went on
to Branson to see five shows there
and nothing compared to your show. I
loved your performance but your
hospitality was bar none. Your one
on one with the audience touched our
whole family. See you again for your
regular show soon." — The Hardy's
and the Dufrene's, New Orleans, LA
"Hi all,
Just want to tell you how much we
enjoyed your Christmas show Friday
night. Once again, you have put
together a wonderful night of
entertainment. We hope you keep the
expanded tribute to our veterans
through the duration of this season.
I loved the rendition of Arlington,
that Walt did. It brought tears to
my eyes. Dale, what a wonderful job
you did on "Oh, Mary did you Know"
and "Oh, Holy Night". It is so
refreshing to see shows that still
keep Christ in Christmas and not the
"Holiday" stuff you see on TV and
the stores. And Scotty, words are
not enough for all you do to make
all of us laugh. We appreciate all
you musicians do to back-up the
singers and perform yourselves. We
can tell you all love what you do."
Dear Pine Mountain Jamboree
We visit your show in July. And we liked it very much. It was to say it really plane " good amusement".
When Mr. Dewbre entered the show. I was almost in shock. Iam a new immigrant and I'm from the Netherlands. I loved watching a television show called" A touch of frost. And this main character Inspector jack adward frost (David Jason) looks really like one drop of water like Mr. Dewbre. He even has a same colored thing by his left eye. I put a picture of this man in my attachment.
We hope to come back one day to visit your show.
Yours Sincerely,
Felicia en Johan de Klein
"Larry
and I were back for your show
Saturday Nov 11th.........beginning
your Christmas season. As always, it
was a great show. We are constantly
amazed at the talents of your
musicians. You are all a great group
of entertainers. See you again
soon." — Sandy and Larry, Prairie
Grove/Springdale, AR
"Hello,
My wife and I were recently in
Eureka Springs, and saw your show on
Tuesday the 7th of November. We
loved it, and this is our 8th year
to see the show. We meant to
purchase one of the hand-held light
shows, but we forgot on our way out.
Do you offer any of the merchandise
on line? We purchased one of Mike's
CD's for my mom, and she loves it.
Hope you have a successful Christmas
season this year. We hope to see you
next year if God's willing." — See
you in 2007, Frank (Andy) and Sue
Anderson
"Hello
from Memphis, Tennessee! We saw your
show in Eureka last month and just
loved it! Do you have a web site? We
bought Dale's CD - are there others
I can purchase? She reminds me so
much of Reba McIntyre. Thanks for
honoring our Veterans also! Ken was
in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He
is 83 and I am 62. We will celebrate
our fourth anniversary in December.
If you haven't seen "Flags of Our
Fathers" yet -- don't miss it! And
go to the theatre to see it on a big
screen. Clint Eastwood has done a
marvelous job in telling this story.
It is powerful." — God Bless You,
Yvonne & Ken
"I just
wanted you to know how much my party
of four ladies enjoyed your show. We
were entertained every moment. We
truly enjoyed the rendition of the
Ragged Ol' Flag. Your addition to
this was great and we greatly
appreciated you adding Oklahoma City
bombing to this song as it was
really close to home. A son and
son-in-law changed their schedule
that morning, we never know when we
cheat death. I had a nephew slightly
injured from the bomb. He did not
work in the Federal Building, but
close by. There is another reciting
I think you would do great with, It
is "WHY I LOVE AMERICA" recited by
John Wayne. Keep up the good work,
and keep GOD in your show." — Four
ladies from Oklahoma
"We came
to see your show on October 19th and
it was wonderful. We stayed in
Branson for 3 days and never saw a
show. but decided to come to see
yours when we came to eureka
springs. Thanks so much for a great
night." — Visitors from Little Rock
"Just
thought I would write and say my
family enjoyed the show and music
very much while on vacation in July.
Hope we can see the show again
sometime. To my surprise I met
Kenneth (Buster) Sharp who might be
kinfolk at the show!" — Travis Sharp
"Hi Mike
and everyone! We were sure surprised
to see all the changes in Eureka
this year. We have been coming up at
least once a year for the last 7
years. We first met you Mike and
your lovely wife Dale when you were
doing the morning show at the Hoe
Down. I must say that your new show
at Pine Mountain is FANTASTIC!! You
sure have the cream of the crop this
year! We love Scotts comedy! He is
really a funny guy and I know you
are glad to have him. Steve Bush is
one of our favorites since he is a
transplanted OKIE too. What a
talent! Not to say everyone else is
not equally as good. We always enjoy
the variety in your shows and are
amazed at how versatile everyone is.
Well we hope to see you next year
and God Bless." — Steve & Vickie,
Wilburton, OK
"I finally had a chance to see
your show, Wednesday, 08-23-06, and
really enjoyed it. This was my first
time to see your group perform .You
folks are a great group of
performers! I personally enjoy the
keyboard and had the honor of
meeting Kevin Clark. Listening to
Kevin perform makes me want to trade
my Korg keyboard for a Kursweil!
What a wonderfully talented and
blessed group you are together!
Would like to see your cds and
products available online. I plan to
bring my other family members and
friends out to see you all again
real soon." — JP Aaron, Fort Worth,
TX
"I just wanted to let everyone
know how much we enjoyed the show.
We had a group from our church came
on Saturday, August 19th. I have
been bringing my 2 little girls for
several years and this year was the
best it's ever been. They always get
a picture and get autographs. To be
honest we enjoy the show but never
really enough to want to come back
for the Christmas show. This year is
different we got our calendars
together the next day and we are
planning to be be there for that
show. Thanks!!!!" — Tracy Scott
"We had a chance to see your
show, Saturday, 08-19-06, and loved
it.This was our first time to see
the new Pine Mountain perform . We
had had seen the group before and
loved it, but you guys are just
wonderful! Would like to see you
sell all your cds and products on
line. Keep up the great work we will
be back to see you soon." — Roy K.
Lomon, Springdale, AR
"My wife, daughter and I loved
your show. The willingness of your
cast to converse with the crowd
during intermission and after the
show made an impression on all of
us. Hannah (8yrs) laughed so hard
she was sore the next day. We will
definitely return next year." — Dean
Meredith, Tulsa, OK
"Go Here! Great show! Not
everyone in our family likes country
music but they really liked this
show. They do a variety of music.
They have an awesome tribute for the
veterans. It was the final thing we
did in Eureka Springs and it was
great!" — Lexington, IL
"You'll be hooked! I never
thought I would like a show this
much. Went on a whim in 1997 and
have been back numerous times since.
If you're in Eureka Springs make
sure you go to this one."
— Amarillo, TX
"Hi gang, We saw your wonderful
funny show over the weekend. Keep up
the great work! I was wondering
though, where is the Drennen family?
Did they quit the business? Thanks."
— Jo
"My wife and I were at the
Saturday night show. It was
fantastic. The music was terrific
and we laughed until we cried during
the Wendy Skit. We have seen many
shows over the years (Lake of the
Ozarks, Branson, Nashville) and
yours was one of them. Great show.
Thanks for the memories."
— Bill & Judy Bart, St Louis, MO
"We purchased season passes and
have been three times, and each time
we enjoy it more. Your wife (Dale)
is a great addition. Look forward to
seeing you again. Can't wait until
the Christmas show starts. Best of
luck this season." — Louise Smith
"Thank you so much for the great
evening of entertainment!! On
Saturday, June 17 [2006], my friends
and I spent our yearly "weekend in
Eureka", to our surprise Pine
Mountain Jamboree had changed!! I
have to be honest and tell you, I
decided I would not have a good
time. The "regulars" were not there!
Was I ever surprised, we had a great
time. The gospel pre show was great,
everything was great!! For several
years I have been coming to Pine
Mountain, my cousin (Kelley Doyle
Blackwood at the time) was in the
cast. I enjoyed the show each and
every I went. Going several times
during the regular season and at
least once during the Christmas
season, I knew the show pretty good
myself. Whatever the reason for the
change I am really glad to know I
can tell my friends what a great
show you have! Thank you! Hope to
see you again soon." — Cookie Doyle,
Stilwell, OK
"I just wanted to let you know
how proud we are of the work you all
are doing. You have an AWESOME show.
I work for the Mike Nichols and
Friends and the Moe Bandy show in
Branson, MO and I hear lots of
wonderful things about your show all
the time. I would say keep up the
good work but I know you will!! Dad,
we still love you even though you
dress up like a girl every night!!"
— John & Lea Nichols, Branson, MO
"This was my first visit to
Eureka Springs and your show. I must
say how much we enjoyed the music
and comedy. Compliments to your cast
and crew." — Kathy Redfearn, Mt
Pleasant, Texas
"Last night's show [May 29th],
was sensational... you guys are
great! I would like to make one
recommendation. Instead of doing
Jerry Lee Lewis's, "Great Balls of
Fire", I suggest you do, "Good Golly
Miss Molly." To understand what I'm
talking about watch the movie, "Sir
Ralph" with John Goodman. Good Golly
Miss Molly is very visual. Anyway...
The show was top notch for a lot of
reason. The fiddle play should be
with the National Symphony
Orchestra. Thank you." — Bruce
Lanctot
"Our bus group from Canada saw
your show on May 7th (an alternative
to the Passion Play). We all enjoyed
it so much, and agreed it was one of
the best shows we saw during our
stay in Branson. James, the
fiddler-violinist, was a stand-out,
and #1 in our books. Thanks again
for an enjoyable evening." — Shirley
Reynolds, St. Catharines, Ontario
"This is the best show I have
ever seen!!! I've been going to the
hoedown for a while now and when
Mike and Scott moved to the Pine
Mountain Jamboree, I just had to
go!! It is now my favorite show in
Eureka Springs!!! I'll probably be
coming back a.s.a.p.!!! ya'll rock
keep it up!!!!" — Manda Swain,
Bidville, Arkansas
"My family has been enjoying the
Pine Mountain Jamboree for more than
20 years. I would love to hear what
has become of the Drennon family. We
will continue to see the show when
we are in the area. We plan to be
there in April. We like Mike Bishop
& thank he is a great MC." — Buddy
Bills
"My husband and I recently saw
your show and loved it. I especially
loved the fiddle player, he is so
versatile, playing classical and
bluegrass like he did, and I also
enjoyed the gospel before show. We
visit Eureka Springs at least once
or twice a year, and we will
definitely see your show again."
— Sherrie Landreth, California,
Missouri
"We attended your show opening
night this season [2006] and loved
it! We now have season tickets and
are looking forward to returning." —
Larry Riedel, Springdale, Arkansas
"The Pine Mountain Jamboree
entertained my kids for years on
vacation, and now my grandkids...
wonderful show!" — Jackson Family,
Texas
"Mike Bishop, we've seen your
show for years..love it!" — Bill &
Lily-Keokuk, Iowa
"Wonderful musicians, lots of
fun...where do you get all the crazy
ideas?"
